Lee Zachariah’s best films of 2011

As if compiling a list of ten films isn’t difficult enough, Lee Zachariah of the Bazura Project and Hell is for Hyphenates has begun to list his top fifty films of 2011, plus a bonus list of the ten best documentaries of the year.

I love his rationalisation for having such a large list, too: he loves movies, therefore there are a lot of films he likes every year. I’m often amazed at how some movie writers appear to have no affinity for films at all; it’s refreshing that Lee shares my “even a less-than-stellar film is better than nothing” attitude.

He’s posting his list it in ten-film chunks, so remember to continue checking for updates.
